To celebrate clinicians & practices who embrace both customer centricity, design and digitalisation, after considerable research, we have put together our winners who we believe are setting the pace for those wanting to optimise their web presence.
The focus is also on functional, working practice websites, not separate ‘display sites’ disconnected from the everyday working of the business.
There are some different flavours of practices included, but we think it is useful to consider edge cases in as much as they push the boundaries of what is possible, and what works.
So for this, the inaugural Altocura 2019 Dental Practice Website awards (DPWA), we teamed up with Adam Faulkner from Sydney based Experience Design firm BlueEgg3, and scanned the world wide web for the most outstanding examples of digital user experience for dental practice customers. We scored hundreds of promising sites based on 5 factors adding to a maximum raw score of 25, which was then multiplied by 4 to give a maximum score out of 100 points as follows;
From these we reviewed, we scored and weighted and finally culled to this final list of ten. All of these 10 finalists sites do many things well. But we’ve added some notes for our readers explaining what we think from a user experience (UX) design perspective they do well, and what (in our view), could be further improved.
We hope you enjoy looking at what others have created, what it suggests to you about them and their practice. Hopefully it gives you some ideas to show off the unique approach of your team and your practice. We welcome comments and feedback.
